Daily Prompt – Fly on the Wall

If you could be a “fly on the wall” anywhere and at anytime in history, where and when would you choose?

If I could be a “fly on the wall”, I would like to be around the time when my mother was giving birth to me so that I will see how my father reacted. Was he with her or not? If he wasn’t where was he, what was he doing? And if he was, did he held my mother’s hand and whispered comforting words to her? Did he rejoice when he saw me? Did he hold me? Did he talk to me? Did he say “I love you” to me?

You see, I didn’t have the chance to meet him. I didn’t have the chance to hear his voice, to hug him or play with him because he passed away when I was only 8 months old, too young to remember a thing.

So if I could be a “fly on the wall”, this is where I would want to be – to be with my father even just for a while, even if he doesn’t realize my presence.

Daily Prompt – Rolling Stone

If you could live a nomadic life, would you? Where would you go?
How would you decide? What would life be like without a “home base”?

Now that I am married and with kids, I don’t think I could live a nomadic life. My hubby won’t agree. I don’t have to ask him, I just know it.

Of course I would love to travel, to see the world, and to explore all the beautiful countries which I get to see in the internet and magazines but during vacation time only. I don’t want a nomadic life even  if I could. I want a home to go back to because ‘there is no such place like home’.

And if I could travel, I want my family to travel with me because without them I don’t think I will enjoy it. I’m sure I will end up worrying all the time if they are not with me.

However, I do admire those who live a nomadic life. I think they are brave and adventurous. Besides, each of us has the right to choose how and where we live.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – The Season of Spring

desertdaisies1.jpg

I thought I can’t participate this week’s challenge since spring is almost over here in Kuwait (according to my research, spring starts Feb. 16 and ends May 20). The desert daisies above are no longer around. Good thing I had these photos which I shot sometime last February while we were walking at the beach. These tiny daisies blooms beautifully during early spring and you can see them almost everywhere.
