Share Your World – Week 32

Hello everyone! Here are the questions and my answers for this week’s SYW.

  1. Which would you prefer:  a wild, turbulent life filled with joy, sorrow, passion, and adventure–intoxicating successes and stunning setbacks; or a contented bordering on happy, secure, predictable life surrounded by friends and family without such wide swings of fortune and mood? I prefer the contented bordering on happy, secure, predictable life surrounded by friends and family without such wide swings of fortune and mood. If I’m still single perhaps I will choose the first option.
  2. Would you like to be famous?  In what way? No. I’m a simple person dreaming to be rich someday but not to be famous 🙂
  3. If you could cure one disease, what would that be? If I could cure one disease, I would want to cure Alzheimer’s disease.  As we all know, there’s no cure yet for this disease and it’s really heartbreaking to see someone suffer from this though I’ve only seen such patient thru movies and documentaries. I can imagine how disheartening it would be, not just for the patient but also for the patient’s family .
  4. If you were invisible, where would you go? That would be marvelous. If I am invisible then I can have a free ride in any airplane I choose and can go to beautiful places all over the world. During the flight, I can hang out at the pilot’s cabin and see how they fly the plane as well as enjoy the beautiful view from up there. Sorry if I sound selfish but this is just a fantasy anyway so I might as well enjoy it.

  1. Just like you I prefer the contented bordering on happy, secure, predictable life surrounded by friends and family without such wide swings of fortune and mood. Peace and joy are two priceless gifts I wish to have for as long as I can. Great post.

  2. Yeah…about the invisibility thing…I think I’d have to skip it. I’d get into waaaaay too much trouble being where I had no business being. I don’t always do what I know I’m supposed to do.

  3. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Great answers as always. I pondered your number three against the backdrop of how debilitating this disease can be. I am hopeful that a cure will come soon.

Speaking of free rides and invisibility, if I am invisible and I ride a roller coaster, would anyone hear me if I screamed? 😉

    Blessings
