When I was a kid, my grandparents had a similar vehicle but is bigger and was pulled by a big carabao or kalabaw in Tagalog. We call the cart as ‘kariton’. We used this to carry the harvested vegetables and fruits from the farm (same as shown above) to my grandparents home. That was long, long time ago and I can’t remember anymore what happened to the ‘kariton’.
When I saw the above display at a supermarket sometime last month, I can’t resist taking a photo and I’m glad I did because now I have an entry for Jake’s Sunday post π
